The Weekend The weekend is centered around a series of talks given by peers. The talks touch on the issues of identity, Christianity, response to Christ, a spiritual journey, reconciliation, community, vocation, empowerment, and the future. The talks address the central issues of we we are, who Christ is, and how we respond to Christ, taking his teaching into our spiritual life, vocation, community and the larger world. The entire weekend is planned and put together by past Vocare participants with the assistance of Spiritual Advisors and the Steering Committee. The weekend is also full of wonderful opportunities to get to know the other candidates, sing, pray, and participate in several forms of worship. |
